Many years of experience in alternative investments

G.I.A. – Gerhold Investment Advisors is an independent owner-managed asset manager and investor specialising in private debt and private equity.

We support our investors in developing and implementing long-term and successful investment strategies individually tailored to our clients’ risk profile.

We concentrate on identifying and implementing finance and investment situations for SMEs in the German-speaking region and in related asset classes. Here, success particularly hinges on risk evaluation and the bespoke structuring of possible investments.

One example is our AkquiVest Fund with capital of €300 million, which we have structured and launched in a partnership with an established German insurance group. We are assisting this fund as an investment and portfolio advisor on a long-term basis. This currently involves viewing and analysing more than 100 individual transactions each year.

Our range of services includes strategy development, the execution of individual transactions and the establishment of a successful investment portfolio.

Access to investment opportunities

We are firmly convinced that an intensive analysis and risk assessment form the decisive basis for the long-term success of an investment. However, it is just as important to have as full an overview of the market as possible combined with direct and trustful access to existing investment opportunities. Only in this way it is possible to achieve an optimum selection of investment situations and, hence, the systematic optimisation of the risk/reward profile. We do this via our broad network and our long-standing personal relations with all key market participants.
